introduction to pranayama with Pam Lindberg

SUNDAY, APRIL 6, 9:30 - 11:00 AM, IN-STUDIO AND ONLINE WITH RECORDING, $35

Pranayama, the fourth limb of yoga, is the practice of meditative breath patterns in reclined or seated yoga postures. Pranayama can bring clarity of mind, emotional stability, and an improved lung capacity. It is an important addition to an asana practice. This workshop is the first in a series of three workshops and will focus on the Ujjayi and Viloma breath patterns. Ujjayi and Viloma are the foundation to subsequent patterns of pranayama. The second and third workshops (dates to be determined) will focus on progressive breath patterns and techniques. This first workshop is a great introduction to pranayama and is open to students who have had six months of Iyengar asana practice. A recording of the workshop will be sent to all registered students and will be viewable for 30 days. Please register by March 31.
