pranayama Workshop #3 with Pam Lindberg

SATURDAY, JULY 12, 2025, 9:30 - 11:00 AM, IN-STUDIO AND ONLINE WITH RECORDING, $35

Preparation for seated Pranayama

Pranayama, the fourth limb of yoga, is the practice of meditative breath patterns in reclined or seated yoga postures. The practice of pranayama can bring clarity of mind, emotional stability, and an improved lung capacity. This workshop is the third in a series of three workshops and will focus on digital pranayama (using the fingers to regulate airflow through the nostrils). This third workshop is a continuation from the first two workshops and will include the breath patterns and foundational elements from the previous workshops. This workshop is open to students who have had six months of Iyengar asana practice.
A recording of the workshop will be sent to all registered students and will be viewable for 30 days. Please register by July 7.

Padmasana in Sarvangasana

These workshops are available to students who have practiced Iyengar Yoga for at least a year. Students with injuries or conditions that contraindicate the practice of Padmasana (Lotus Pose) or any form of inversion should not attend. However, students who are challenged by, or not yet routine practitioners of, the previously mentioned poses should absolutely attend! Both workshops will focus on how to prepare and work up to the given asanas, methods of practice and modifications for specific challenges or conditions. If you are not sure whether you are a good candidate, please reach out to Marly. The workshops will be in-person and online, and a recording will be made available for 30 days following each. Please register no later than the Monday before the workshop.
